“What’s in your hand?” is the penultimate question asked of Moses, when God called him on
Mount Horeb, to lead the liberation of the Hebrews from bond slavery in Egypt. This immense
call to greatness, was made by God to Moses, a man who was a fugitive with low self-esteem,
anger management issues, a criminal past, numerous life regrets, a catastrophic career failure,
betrayals, and one who did not even consider himself eloquent enough to speak.

How did this same person end up becoming a freedom fighter, an army general, a high court
judge, a national hero, the leader of a new nation, a renowned public speaker, and an author of
several books that have influenced the world?

The book “What’s In Your Hand?” shares the story of Moses and the Hebrews in Egypt, drawn
from the Book of Exodus, conveying the idea that ordinary persons, from diverse backgrounds
and different circumstances, can do extraordinary things with the resources they already have.
